Embracing the Miracle of Birth: A Combined Certification in Waterbirth and and Introduction to Pre and Perinatal Psychology

This workshop will combine the material from the standard certification course for waterbirth which covers undistrubed birth and include an introduction to the Primary Developmental Period of all new beings. We will look at the importance of early bonding in pregnancy, recognize the innate capabilities of the fetus and the necessity to respect the critical time for attachment. We will understand how the brain wires and the effects of the ecstatic hormones on the physiology, psychology and long term health. We will explore attachment theory and help the participant understand techniques to use with mothers who were separated from their newborns at birth for medical or other reason in order to recreate the attachment and restore balance.

This combined workshop is great for anyone who needs CEUs, as this workshop will give you 14 CEUs, ( 7 per day you attend)
